As if by destiny, there’s a number of crabs here that literally play the protectors role by cleaning the beach, looking after the whole natural ecosystem. So in our notion of a perfect name to represent this very peaceful place, undoubtedly, it has to be “Karkinos”

From all of its interpretations around the
world, ‘Crab’ symbolism represents many good things.

But there’s the only one that both the East and the West have in common; “The protector”.

Once upon a time, there’s an ancient Greek mythology about a brave giant crab who fought bravely to “protect” his master and was blessed to become the ‘Cancer’ constellation. His name? Yep. It’s “Karkinos”
